Creality K2 Series TPU Mod Kit
Description
The K2 Series TPU Mod Kit works on ALL K2 variants. It comes with everything you need to perform the extruder mod you see in the Stay Ready To 3D Print YouTube video, where we show you how you can simply modify your extruder to be able to print TPU reliably using the Creality K2 Series 3D Printer.
You'll get:
1- 3d printed spring stop
1- Extruder Spring
1- Thumbscrew Tension Spring
1- Thumbscrew
NOTE: Works with all K2 series machines
With these installed, in about 5-10 minutes you will be on your way to printing TPU reliably like we do all the time. This method can be applied to other machines from our experience, but please only tamper with your machine if you are willing to possibly void your warranty. Any mod you do to any machine you run the risk of voiding warranty. But this can be removed to return your machine back to its OEM state.
I'm sure this would work fine, but my creality K2 doesn't have the heat insert for the thumb screw to thread into.
I payed for express shipping but my purchase still took a long time to arrive. Can I get a refund for the amount payed for quicker shipping?
It was easy to install. I wish it had the thumbscew instead on the screw that requires a tool. I have a really soft TPU that I have yet to get working. I think the mod will work with .6 mm nozzle. I am waiting for the nozzle.
The kit is great, was easy to install on my K2 and works great even with PLA. I was able to print some things thanks to the new spring (good bye stupid jams!) but TPU continues to mess up more than any other filament I worked with.
